Momma's Private Landfill - Sack

This is a companion piece to Momma's Private Landfill, the drawing. In this sack are plastic and synthetic materials from toys and remnants of toys from my daughter's childhood. I started collecting these items when she was around 5 in 2022. I did not want to throw things away and these were items that I felt I could not donate. They are mostly parts of things and broken things.
Some items are visible in the companion drawing and others are not as this sack is an ongoing piece that I am still adding to.
The letters are made by hand in wool felt and hand stitched to the sack. |
