Dispersed through the grass are toys from my daughter's childhood. I donated what I could, but a lot of things are broken, pieces of things, small bits of plastic and synthetic materials. So, I have a collection of these things.
The polar bears I snuck in, they were not toys, but are a reminder of footage from David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet (2020). He tells us that after our destruction of the natural world, nature will rebuild without us, but we will not be here to witness it.
So, I put in some oyster mushrooms for hope as they can expedite the breakdown of plastics.
