The Portable Forest are potted plants that can travel for shows, events and happenings inside and outside. Typically they are shown interacting with the space they are in or traveling metaphorically if not physically.

Bank, in a ghillie suit, drove a green Toyota Echo labeled “The Portable Forest” towing a miniature forest installation in her homebuilt trailer. She was guided by motorcycle and moped drivers in customized evergreen tree helmets. The ride started at Sunset Blvd. downtown (the beginning of Sunset Blvd.) at 1:00am on September 18, 2011 and proceeded at 20mph all the way to the beach (the end of Sunset Blvd.) and back by 5:30pm.
