Uploading Your Site: Dreamweaver
With Dreamweaver you need to define a site first (Site>Define
Site) before you can do anything. And everything is done through the site window.
Process:
1. You will need this information to upload your site (provided
to you by your host:
•ftp location
•account or user name
•password
2. Define your site, or if it is already defined, select it and and select Edit.
3. You will see a popup window where you can select Remote Info. Settings. Enter in FTP, User Name and Password.
4. Click o.k.
5. In the site window Click on the Connect Button to connect to your site.
6. Your site on the server will be on the left and your site you are currently working on to upload is on the right.
7. To disconnect hit the Connect Button again.
