Timelines Panel
Timelines are controlled with the Timeline Panel.
To view the panel select Window>Timelines
What does the Timelines Panel look like?
Parts of the timeline:
frames: you put keyframes in at points you want
to change in the timeline
frame numbers: shows you how many frames have passed
channel (layer) numbers: show you what is on what
layer
current frame number: displays the current frame
number that the playhead is on
frames per second (playback rate): the rate of playback
of your movie
Autoplay checkbox: makes the animation start playing
after the page loads or it won't play
rewind and play buttons: rewinding and playing your
timeline
Timeline pull-down menu: Where you select a timeline
behaviors channel: Where you put in behaviors
playhead: the marker that shows you where you are
in the timeline
