Templates in Dreamweaver
In Dreamweaver you can create pages that are used as templates for new pages. You can always duplicate a page and just edit it and resave it. But, with the templates in Dreamweaver, you can control what is editable and what isn't to avoid mistakingly changing the wrong thing.
Basically you design a page and then designate certain areas to be editable.
Templates are stored in a folder called "templates", accessable through the Assets Panel.
To See the Templates folder
1. Select Window>Assets.
2. Click on the Templates icon.
