Setting Up A Local Site

Setting Up A Local Site: The Process
  1. Select: Site>Manage Site from the main menu bar.
  2. In the dialog box, select "New>Site" .
  3. Name the site
  4. Choose a local folder that you have set up for the site, or if you haven't set it up yet, navigate to where you will keep it and select the new folder icon.
  5. *if you have your FTP info and want to use Dreamweaver to upload your files, then: select the "Remote Info: tab if you want to set FTP info. In the "access" pull down, select FTP and enter in your ftp info.
  6. Click "OK".
  7. A site cache will be made, Click "OK".
  8. Hit "Done".
New Site: Site>Manage Site
