Final Project

For your final project, you are to create one original Flash animation. Is should have a cohesive theme or concept. You will need at least the last two class periods to work on your project as well as time budgeted outside of class. Plan accordingly. The specifications are as follows:

A 30 second (360 frame at 12 frames per second) Flash animation project showing mastery of frame by frame and tweening animation, proper symbol usage, and the ability to create with the type and vector drawing tools as well as animate imported raster elements.

Minimum elements:

• At least 30 seconds (at 12 frames per second)
• Usage of at least one animated imported bitmap
• Usage of at least 10 different vector based (drawn in Flash) animated symbols
• At least 1 occurrence of animated type
• Frame by frame animation
• Proper usage of tweening (no broken tweens or Tween 1 and Tween 2 in the library)
• All assets used must be symbols. The only exception is for sound. It is not necessary; sound will be in the library already.
• Usage of at least one sound file as either a stream or event sound. It must be used appropriately, based on the context, depending on if it must loop or synch.

Remember that these are the guidelines and if your animation is amazing but doesn't follow all my rules, that's fine, but you will be graded according to them. The choice is yours. You will be graded on:
