Sometimes you may need to edit the center-point of a symbol. Such as when you are rotating an arm at a joint.

1. Select the object with the arrow tool.

2. Select the transform tool.

3. You will see a circle, this is the center point. Move it to the point where you want to rotate from.

4. Proceed with rotating the symbol with the transform tool.
