Sometimes you may want to copy many frames and layers at one time and paste into another timeline area or file.

Simply select everything you want to copy with the arrow tool in the timeline area (making sure that the layers are not locked) and select Edit>Timeline>Copy Frames.

Then select the frame where you want to paste the frames you just copied and select Edit>Timeline>Paste Frames
