Guide Layers

Guide layers are very useful for storing notes and alternate animation or script to use in your movie. They are not just for making motion guides for your animation to follow.

You can also use them to create lines such as title safe areas or to line things up, such as in other graphics programs.

To set layers to guide layers, double-click the page curl icon next to the layer name to get to the layer properties of the layer you are going to guide and choose guide from the radio button list.
