Once your done with your site. You can submit it to search engines
such as:
Yahoo, AltaVista,
Lycos
You can have them add your URL.
If you make your Metadata more precise it can really help.
With Yahoo, find your the category that your site would fall under and choose suggest a site from the bottom of the page.
