Animated
Gifs: Fireworks
1. Create and save images to use as the frames of your animation. Save them
each separately. It's a good idea to number them sequentially. These will typically
be static gif images.
2. Open the first in Fireworks.
3. Select from the main
menu: Insert/Frame
4. Open the second picture.
5. Select it with the arrow
tool and choose Edit/Copy.

6. Move to the first images
window. Pull down in the Layers Panel to Frame 2.
7. Click on the page and
Select Edit/Paste.
8. Do steps 2-7 for all the rest of frames.
9. Select
Animated Gif in the Optimized Panel.
10. Select File/Export Preview.
Press Play to test the animation.
11. Double check settings to the left (they should say animated gif)
12. Hit export.
