Sometimes you may want to collect some form information that will be hidden to the user, such as the URL for the page, or the form version, or to gather information from a previous form.
ex. You may want to store a user's information gathered from a previous form so that you can combine it with the current form data (as in a shopping cart).
To make a menu: Dreamweaver
1. Put your cursor where you want it in the document window.
2. Select Insert>form object>Hidden Field
from the main menu.
Or click on the form button in the object panel: form section:
3. In the Properties panel:
-give it a name.
-give it a value.
