Fonts on the Web

Type faces for on screen are hard to find. With fonts on the web, the subtlety of differences in font characteristics becomes negligable and indecernable. The web is concerned with broad strokes and the big picture. Fonts on the web need to rasterize exceedingly well on screen (the pixel by pixel definition of the characters which we seen on screen need to be well defined, type can also be defined as vector information for such purposes as printing).


Or they should be bitmap typefaces. ex.


•Of course you can use other fonts but they may appear blurry and unclear.
•you should think about legibility of the type you use if your objective is to have people read it. Legibility is affected by shape, spacing, and size of individual letters and words and how you arrange them on the page.
