Creating:
You can do one of the following to make a layer:
A. Select Insert>Layout Objects>Layer from the main menu
Or
B.
1. Select Layout from the Insert panel and select the Draw Layer icon (make sure
you are in "Standard" mode).
2. Click on the part of the page that you want the layer and drag to make the layer.
3. You will see a box with a little box in the upper left corner and one of these layers indicators on you page:
